BNSF 8834 & 9148 sit at the Burlington, Iowa depot in Feb 2010. This photo shows clearly how the orange color fades badly with time. It will not be long and 8834 will look like chalk and 9148 will look like 8834 does now. I like orange, but BNSF needs to start using better quality paint! 

BNSF 8825 leads a 5-pack of dieselloks with a mixed freight through the Burlington, Iowa yard on 26 July 2003. Behind 8825 are BNSF 8253 und 5457, Santa Fe 4710 and finally BNSF 5635. In trains like this usually only the first two lokomotives are pulling the train and the others are just being moved. 

BNSF 5876 sits at the siding near the depot in Burlington, Iowa on 27 Feb 2006. Only a minor stain from the diesel on the silver paint of the fuel tank would suggest that this lok has been on the road only a few weeks, especially when compared to the unit it is coupled to! 
