Amtrak 185 & 158 wait patiently on a snowy December day for eastbound passengers to load at Burlington, Iowa. In this very site on the closest track to the right is the same track where the old Injun Joe Zephyr was backed into the depot for its southbound trek to St. Louis, Missouri half-a-century ago. Train is pointing south now, and in less than one mile will be crossing the Mississippi River.
